Today was another good day for me. I was up again at 4:55 am, even though I only got to be at 1 am the night before, and got stuck into my one thing for the day once I had completed my morning routine.
I have to confess; I did go back to bed around 8:45 am for an hour because I had to help my girlfriend set up her new fitness studio, and without at least another hr of sleep I knew I would have a tough time making it through the day in a productive state.
Even though I did go back to bed, I am happy with the way the day went in the end.
I am going to stick to getting up at 5 am for the next 100 days; I just have to be more disciplined about the time I go to bed. Giving myself at least 6 (preferably 8) hours of sleep each night is a much better target, so that’s what I will try to do.
Back To Work
Tomorrow is the end of my Christmas holidays, and I am in work for 8:30 am for the next three days.
Keeping my focus will be tested over the next 100 days when it comes to juggling my day job and trying to build a business on the side.
I have no interest in the job I do for a living. In my opinion, there would be a major problem if I was happy going to the job I currently have every day for the rest of my life.
All the effort I put into trying to improve myself, build a business, and be a better all round person is for one primary reason. My big why is all about living a life I can truly be happy with and have the ability to help all the people in my life that I love and wish the best for every day that I am alive.
Today’s One Thing
Today I worked on building out an anchor text profile for the site I am currently building out.
I got about 80% of the way to completion today, so once that alarm goes off in the morning and I finish my routine, I will be straight into that task again.
I have enough time to fit in 2 (3 tops) Pomodoros before I leave for work, so my goal is to have that task crossed off the list before I leave.
Ok, off to chill with the girlfriend for an hour before bed.
Talk tomorrow (even though nobody is reading this yet 🙂 )
